Recipe of the Week
Everyone loves a good desert with cool whip so here is some healthy alternatives to some old favorites, all under 200 calories.
The New Reeses Cup!
Ingredients
8oz of Low fat or fat free whipped cream
1/3 cup Low fat peanut butter
Hershey’s melt able chocolate
Mini cup cake papers
Prepare
Mix cool whip and peanut butter thoroughly. Place in holders. Melt chocolate as directed on package then drizzle on top of whipped cream and peanut butter mix. Freeze then enjoy.
Pie in the Sky
Ingredients
8oz. fat free whipped cream
1 tablespoon of orange flavoring (raspberry, peppermint, vanilla and pretty much any other flavoring works too)
1 package vanilla or chocolate fat free pudding (try different flavors such a cheesecake as well)
1/2 cup fresh berry’s,mint, or whatever garnish you choose
Prepare
Let cool whip sit out and soften then beat pudding mix together. Add flavoring to mix then beat into almost like a moose. Place into pie dish adding garnish to top. Place in fridge until ready to serve.
