To Live is to Learn is to Grow

“What you did is not important, what you learn from it is”

I am not sure who said this, or if there is a certain person to attribute to this quote, but I think that it is one of the best quotes to live by. Life is a learning experience. We live, we do things, we make mistakes. The only way we can grow is to learn from these mistakes. To become the best person; the person who we want to be, we must take cues from both our mistakes and from what other people tell us (even if they are hinting subtly or silently) in order to truly become us. No one is perfect, and no one will ever be perfect, but to be happy, we must let ourselves learn, grow, adapt, and prosper. Life is learning, growing is learning, becoming a better person is learning. Mistakes are only opportunities to learn and grow.

Today’s fitness tip is one that I have really been struggling with lately, and it’s had a huge affect on me.  It’s reached triple digit heat and heat index where I live for the past few weeks, and I haven’t been drinking enough water. When I finally go to work out, I can hardly finish a 30 minute cardio session because I am so dehydrated.  Be sure you drink enough water before, during, and after you work out and replenish your body with the fluids it needs to keep you working towards your best.

Gemini (May 21-June 21) — You have a long to do list this week. You will check off more items if you plan before you start moving. There’s a learning curve involved.

Cancer (June 22-July 22) –  Make careful use of precise words in every email or conversation. Offhand comments could become set in stone, so don’t make any.

Leo (July 23-Aug. 22) — A lot of finger-pointing goes on this week. Too much money’s been spent already. Trim the budgets without hurting anyone. Prioritize areas that get the job done.

Virgo (Aug. 23-Sept. 22) — Take time first thing in the morning to write down feelings and thoughts. Perhaps dreams revealed the idea of balance in a precarious situation.

Libra (Sept. 23-Oct. 22) –  If you want, you can do all the work yourself and take all the credit (or blame). Hint: sharing the process gets you a lot more in the long run.

Scorpio (Oct. 23-Nov. 21) –  Even though you’re not comfortable with all your eggs in one basket, that’s the kind of focus that you need to get the job done.

Sagittarius (Nov. 22-Dec. 21) –  A day away from home with your family works wonders for everyone’s mood. Take a drive, see the sights and eat your favorite cuisine.

Capricorn (Dec. 22-Jan. 19) –  A male associate contacts you, possibly from out of country, to discuss finances. This is a ticklish topic. Listen and learn.

Aquarius (Jan. 20-Feb. 18) — While you weren’t looking, someone got bogged down in financial details. Postpone resolutions for a better day. Do something fun instead.

Pisces (Feb. 19-March 20) –  Your favorite people are intensely focused on how to get the most for their money. You’re more interested in getting what you really want.

I promised I’d do it so here it is

Tabloid Tuesday No Comments »

All the teenies, college girls and Disney loving mommas are ready for today’s 4 o’clock launch of www.Cambio.com

Which is the website meant to promote management agency The Jonas Group’s official client list including the likes of  Anna Maria Perez de Tagle, Big Rob,Demi Lovato, Frankie Jonas, Honor Society, Jordan Pruitt,Jordin Sparks, Katelyn Tarver, KSM, Meaghan Martin, Nick Jonas & The Administration, The Wannabes Starring Savvy, The Wonder Girls and of course The Jonas Brothers.

Also YouTube reporter Katie Santry will be doing various interviews for the site. She recently moved to LA and is now living with the beautiful Tiffany Thorton

The question here is will the website take off and continually be updated or will it be a super fail just to help promote for awhile before they forget about it. (www.fanfamilyexperience.com anyone?)

Only time will tell, are you looking forward to the launch later today?

Fashion mess of the week

Tabloid Tuesday 1 Comment »

Lea Michele was possibly still thinking it was Gaga week on Glee when she stepped out in this mess on her way to the launch of hairstylist Mark Townsend website/magazine http://www.marktbeauty.com/ The whole outfit seemed too much. Too much fluff, too much skin, too much bangs,  too much nude color but not enough fashion. We love this girl to pieces but this outfit deserves a fine.

Jennifer Lopez was looking stunning the other night in a Gianfranco Ferré dress  while rocking Sergio Rossi pumps. The hair, the dress, the smile is all fantastic. The sparkling beauty looked to be poured into the dress fitting her body perfectly. The neck line really brings out her…features without making them too skanky. She also looks happier than ever. Bravo JLo, keep on rocking the glam.
